If there is anything that I have learned through life and blogging is that anything can happen, you never give up and you just keep thrusting forward. So many unpredicted events, both positive and the opposite have occurred in the past few months, all that I could do was handle each situation one at a time, and yes at times I was overwhelmed, but now here I am in a new city, with my fiancé, the love of my life and the one that makes most of these photos happen.
One of the hardest things that I have endured after leaving home besides the obvious missing my family, friends, friends who I made my family, searching for a new job, relocating all of my belongings and animals across country, regretting leaving half of it at home, crying over forgetting all of my Christmas decor (don’t worry the tears only lasted a minute and my fiancé bought some fall decor immediately to brighten my day) is just to take it in and not let anything truly dismay you. Over the years I have had to take unexpected breaks from my blogging due to family matters, and just life, but not once have i let it stop me from living. Through my painting, continuous use of my creativity, writing, school, learning, and making sure that the ones that matter the most come first, I never give up.
Theses photos were taken after am unforgivable amount of truffle, burgers, and bourbon we shot these photos in Bucktown. Chicago. This is where I will be working and hopefully living soon. I fell in love with this part of the city when we came to visit in March, it is filled with so much inspiration and can’t help but feel this is where I was meant to be. I am so happy to be here with the love of my life, the possibility of a dream job in fashion, and the start of a new chapter.
There pants are from Karmaloop and today I paired them with Jeffrey Campbell boots, and a jean shirt that I left open with a white fringe crop top underneath. I love these pants and somehow snagged them on sale from Karma loop for 5$ when I was in a giant search of velvet bellbottoms, they can easily be dressed up or down and are so comfy and warm for fall.
